Vehicle Description 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible.
This classic is in good condition and has been either garage kept or covered.
The cover is included.
According to the VIN it is the standard corvette but if you go by all the engine markings and that it has all the original equipment of an LT1 it is either badged as an LT1 or it is an actual LT1.
The engine numbers match the VIN number and there has been some evidence that in 1972 there was confusion on the vehicle ID numbers so the car is possible an LT1 from the factory.
The car was purchased 9 years ago from a local broker who purchased it from a national broker and at the time there was no real history on the car.
The tires, interior are in excellent condition.
The paint which is Ontario Orange appears to be original, the paint is flaking.
The top is black, and the interior is Saddle Brown The transmission is a manual 4-speed (M22).
This classic is in good mechanical and cosmetic condition.
The car runs great.
The flaws:
The car can use new paint, the top does not have holes, but it is starting to fatigue, the valance comes up when the wipers are turned on but the wipers are not wiping, as seen in a picture it needs a minor fiberglass repair at the left rear wheel, the radio is not original.
