Experienced Web developer needed for client in Richmond VA:
Qualifications:
Strong experience of the web presentation stack HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX 3
years of experience working in a modern commercial web development environment and shipping solid product to end users.
Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.
g.
HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, REST, Thrift) Past experience or familiarity with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities Rigor in A/B testing, test coverage, and other web best practices Analytical and strong quantitative skills, plus experience combining code and math.
Proficiency in at least one of the following:
Python, PHP, Ruby or Java with a preference for Java Proficiency with Linux, Apache and open-source technology stacks Nice to have:
