FPID identifies, develops, coordinates & integrates with operating forces, advocates, supporting establishment and other IDs for future, MAGTF Force Protection concepts, capabilities, requirements and related materiel/non -materiel solutions to optimally support engagement in conventional and irregular warfare. Key focus areas include the institutionalization of C-IED doctrine and lessons learned and the Joint Service EOD Notional Concept Working Group.
In support of the FPID, PAE is looking for a C-IED SME to work on-site at the FPID. The C-IED SME will provide expertise to FPID leadership and staff principles regarding C-IED operations, the institutionalization of C-IED Lessons learned, the development of C-IED service and Joint doctrine and will be a staff coordinator for researching, drafting and reviewing various operational lessons learned, educational and doctrinal materials as well as drafting information, position and decision making briefs and papers in these areas for FPID leadership.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree;
10-15 years of experience in the USMC;
5-10 years of experience on USMC or Joint Staffs;
Demonstrated experience in C-IED training and operations;
Demonstrated and high degree of familiarity with Marine Corps Doctrine as it relates to C-IEDs and Network Engagement;
Demonstrated background in researching, developing and/or reviewing USMC and/or Joint doctrine;
Demonstrated background in developing Information, Position and Decision briefs and associated supporting documentation;
Strong research and analytical skills;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Customer service focused and dead-line oriented;
Able to handle constructive criticism;
Microsoft Office Program skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Desired:
Master's Degree;
Service Command and Staff College level graduate;
Demonstrated understanding of the USMC capability development process and JCIDS as implemented by the Marine Corps; within the CBA framework ;
Experience working with USMC Training and Education Command (TECOM) and Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC)
Clearance: Active SECRET. TS/SCI desired.
