The Transportation business unit has four main business streams - surface transportation, aviation, fleet maintenance and infrastructure services, with over 1000 personnel providing these services in the federal, state and local markets. Our transportation surface and infrastructure business includes traffic control centers, intelligent system specification, deployment and maintenance, traveler information systems, back office capabilities, program management, congestion management and general operations. Our business with state and local governments include parking management systems and technicality upgrades and parking enforcement. In addition we provide fleet maintenance services to a number of public utilities and municipal authorities.

Job Description:
Requires a High School diploma and current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program as a Senior or a recent graduate.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with network background looking for a career in the field of Network Operations Center (NOC) with opportunities to advance. The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
The ability to demonstrate applications of IT and system checks of networks and IT devices.
Be proactive when monitoring the status and health of IT devices throughout Virginia.
Be able to identify, document, trouble-shoot and resolve problems and operational issues with those devices.
Diagnose network/device problems and dispatch field technicians
Maintain situational awareness and operational readiness
Be able to quickly document network/device problems through work orders
Be able to provide exceptional customer service
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Experience:
Participate in job rotational program to learn various aspects of business operations within a particular business unit. Provide support to more senior staff members.
