The Children''s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Brook Road campus is in search of a fulltimeFacility Relations and Security Supervisorto provide coordination of front desk reception, telephone communications and security services for the facility. Responsibilities include training and supervision of team members providing reception and security in a 24-hour healthcare setting. Serves as a role model to ensure a friendly and reliable guest experience for patients, families, visitors and team members throughout the facility. Oversees departmental operations, customer service and emergency response. Ability to understand and train others on the use of detailed procedures. Ability to comprehend and apply safety regulations, security procedures, understanding of building system monitoring devices,hospital policies and procedures.
The Facility Relations and Security Supervisor shares on-call responsibilities with other members of the Facility team. At times the Supervisor will provide coverage as a Security Officer to meet staffing requirements to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
Five (5) years of supervisory experience is required. DMV record check will be conducted for this position- driving history should reflect a proficient driving record. Bachelor''s degree in Criminal Justice, Business or Humanities is preferred. Ability to attain DCJS within six (6) months of hire.
