Our client, a Fortune 200 Financial
services
Corporation, is in search of a Mid-Level Strategic Marketing
manager
for a contract assignment at their location in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in an organizational role, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
Responsibilities:
o Attend and conduct (with direction from Senior Level Marketing Managers) meetings and work with marketing strategists to understand objective of solicitation/internal campaign
o Using internal template, create Marketing brief outlining objectives of campaign for approval from Senior Marketing Managers and execution by Creative team
o Work with Senior Level Marketing Manager to perform research/conduct focus groups on targeted demographics for product testing/rewards programs
o Promote Brand awareness and manage consistency
o Coordinates any internal documentation to ensure the timely and smooth production of direct mail solicitations
o Initiate recommendations to improve routing and creative process and ways of improving the overall efficiencies
Experience:
o Four year degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
o MBA preferred
o Minimum of two years of Direct Mail experience, or fast-paced, advertising agency environment managing multiple projects for multiple customers/accounts, preferred
o Account Management experience a plus.
o Confident in leading marketing projects for multiple clients, ideally Direct Mail solicitations for the financial industry or ad agency with multiple client/industry focuses
o Proven ability to quickly ramp up on expectations of client
o Actively researches, learns and incorporates new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve processes.
o Minimum of three years of experience with MS Word and Excel
o Minimum of one year of experience with Adobe Acrobat, MS Project a plus
