Seeking HR Manager to provide strategic leadership to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with plant & corporate objectives, building & maintaining effective relationships with the workforce, & engaging the employees and plant management in organization design activities that foster and sustain a high performance work culture. Manages and resolves complex personnel and employment issues and works with other
human resources
team members to develop and implement HR-based solutions to business problems
SHORT LIST:
Richmond, VA area (prefer local or someone w/ ties)
105-115k plus bonus
Will be a site HR Leader, Unionized (USW) w/ 140-160 workers
LONGER LIST:
Ability to build chemistry w/ Plant Manager & Union (KEY)
Strategic Leader
Strong Labor Skills
Industrial Manufacturing Experience (Metals preferred!)

BS/MS in HR Management, Bus, or Public Admin w/ emphasis on HR, Ind Psych, OrgLeadership or related
