Principal Cyber Engineer-Detection and Prevention Lead Detection and Prevention Lead Raytheon is supporting a Federal Government customer contract for delivering technical support to customer management and providing resources for the technical
services
required to enable customer mission accomplishment. In support of the customer's strategic direction, Raytheon is looking for key individuals who can support the protection of the customer environment. Subject Matter Experts with a range of cyber security specialties are needed to support the customer team. Qualified candidates shall possess: Demonstrated understanding of security technologies and concepts, experience in design and implementation of secure network solutions including DMZs and web portals Practical experience hardening IT systems in compliance with STE/STIG guidelines Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and deployment of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Security Information/Event Management (SIEM) infrastructure Experience planning, directing, and controlling multiple, concurrent projects, assuring overall budget, schedule, and performance standards are realistically set and attained; including experience with EVMS Experience leading and providing technical direction for multiple project teams, including identifying and staffing task assignments, for integration, testing, implementation, and deployment of system components Experience fostering and engaging in active participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and program Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) Experience interfacing directly with customer and management teams; including, conducting briefings and technical meetings for management and customer representatives Experience and/or familiarity with software and system lifecycle methodologies (e.g. ISO, CMMI, ITIL) Experience with Agile development methodology required Experience fostering and engaging in active participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and program Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with multiple programming languages, databases, and operating systems Experience and understanding of processes and guidelines for certifying and accrediting information systems to obtain authority to operate (ATO) Experience with continuous monitoring and establishing processes and practices that comply with FISMA requirements Experience with software configuration management and control tools and automated testing tools Required: B.S. Cybersecurity, Information Security, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline required. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Eight (8) years of related experience required Active TS/SCI clearance required Desired: Prior DHS Suitability preferred Certifications (identified or comparable): o PMP or similar certification desired o DoD 8570.1-M/CISM or CISSP required o DoD 8670 IAM LII required o ISSEP or ISSAP desired o SANS/GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) desired o ArcSight Certified Security Analyst (ACSA) desired o Agile software development certification required Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) provides a full range of ISR, navigation, weather, cybersecurity, training, logistics, mission support and engineering solutions for the intelligence

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
