SENIOR DATA WAREHOUSE AND BUSINESS INTELLEGENCE DEVELOPER
Responsibilities:
o Creating dimensional (star/snowflake schema) data models,
o Maintaining responsibility for global data definitions used in the Data Warehouse
o Performing ETLs and validating results with business representatives,
o Integrate data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouse
o Cleansing data,
o Transforming and loading data in Oracle 11G environment.
o Building ROLAP/MOLAP solutions
o Adhering to standards for the Data Warehouse, including security, archiving, backup and recovery
o Participating in architectural decisions for data transitions from source to staging to ODS to EDW
o Supporting implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
Skill Required
Experience with Unix /Linux platform Required 5 Years
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL programming (Data Staging running on Linux platform) Required 5 Years
Experience with Unix scripting preferred (Korn shell, chron tab scheduler) Required 5 Years
Extensive experience in complete life cycle of Data Warehousing projects providing end to end solutions Required 5 Years
Experience working closely with supporting teams to develop integrated solutions for Legacy Systems, Web Methods, FTP, etc. Required 5 Years
Experience and understanding with Data Modeling (Power Designer/ERWIN tool preferred) Required 5 Years
Experience with Dimensional Modeling with Data Warehouse ROLAP/MOLAP and reporting technologies ( Business Objects, OBIEE, Crystal) Required 5 Years
Working knowledge of Kimball framework and Methodologies Required 5 Years
Experience in a Decision Support/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence environment Required 5 Years
Familiarity with Agile Software development Highly desired 2 Years
Strong Experience with OBIEE and/or SAP BO Required 5 Years
Working knowledge of OWB Required 5 Years
Preferred
Qualifications:
o 5
years of experience in a Decision Support/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence environment
o College degree or higher ( Bachelors Degree in
computer
Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and technical training)
o Familiarity with Agile Software development
o Working knowledge of OBIEE and/or SAP BO
o Working knowledge of OWBEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
