Program Coordinator- Department of Neurology- Days

The Program Coordinator provide administrative and secretarial support based on applicable policies, rules and procedures.
The Program Coordinator will support to 2-3 divisions within the Department of Neurology, including clinical, administrative, fiscal, research, and academic duties. Under the direction of the Division Supervisor and/or Neurology Leadership, responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Oversight and management of administrative calendars for division faculty and APPs
oScheduling, attending, and taking minutes for meetings
oSubmitting faculty and APP leave requests
Collating and processing reimbursements (eg travel, recruitment)
Drafting faculty recruitment itineraries, and hosting on-site and virtual recruitment visits
Submitting requests to revise leadership-approved Neurology clinical schedules
Purchasing Division office supplies
Department and Division project assistance
This position requires a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy as the initial administrative contact for the divisions, as well as flexibility to pivot due to a high paced work environment with competing priorities. Initiative, accountability, collaboration, and dependability are essential to the success of this position.

Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring
Experience PREFERRED:
Five (5) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience in an academic health care setting
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
Project management and communication with a variety of individuals/entities and decision making.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
