Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate to fill a full-time front desk position at our busy dermatology practice.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Checking patients in and out - Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining any necessary referrals - Scheduling appointments for multiple providers - Answering telephone calls in a timely and pleasant manner - Collecting monies for copays/patient balances and accurately posting - Daily clerical work to help office operate efficiently - Staying well versed on practice's medical terminology - Educating patients and encouraging cosmetic product sales - Promoting any monthly specials -Cross training with other staff members to fill in as needed The person we are looking for will need to be organized, friendly, and an excellent multi-tasker.
