Vaco Richmond is recruiting for an Accounting Manager for a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing company in the Richmond area.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting policy, general ledger accounting, analysis and manage a small team.
This role is a on-site every day.
Please note a CPA is required for this role.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work closely with leadership and manage a small team Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close Document and update accounting processes and procedures Participate in year-end audit creating documentation and schedules Support budget and forecasting activities Work directly with all the other Finance Team members in the company Ensure that all the financial reporting deadlines are met and advice on any reporting matters Develop and implement new accounting procedures, internal controls and process improvements Provide training to new and existing staff if needed Participate in the annual budget process Skills and Education Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA Required 6
years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting roles including general ledger, monthly closing activity, financial reporting, internal controls, and financial analysis or public accounting Ability to multi-task, strong verbal and written communication skills and problem solve.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
