Carrier Enterprise has an opportunity for a Commercial Sales Engineering Trainee in our Richmond, MA locationThis role will be a support resource for our customers, partners, and Commercial sales teamThis position will be responsible for working collaboratively with the sales team as a technical advisor and Commercial/ product advocateThe Commercial Sales Engineering Trainee must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all Commercial and HVAC technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction.

Orientation to Carrier Enterprise values and cultureProduct knowledge, sales techniques, new technologies and marketing strategiesOn the job training, rotational assignments, and job shadowing in various departmentsCommercial HVAC training directly with Carrier CorporationSeeks new business opportunities by responding to routine sales leads from Account or Sales Managers and generating quotes for Commercial sales with assigned accounts.
Supports Account Managers and Sales Managers with new accounts, existing accounts, and introduction of new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
Complete bids, submittals and takes offs based on plan reviews and specifications in support of Commercial sales.
Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to complete the sale.
Extensive interaction with customers (Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, GC, etc.
), manufacturers, and sales team via phone& e-mail.
Travel as needed with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities.
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
Assist with training as needed to our Commercial customers.
Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
Maintain professional business relationships with target or assigned accounts.
Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
Maintain a log of all projects and provide management reports at set intervals.
Work with the Applied Order Management team to release ordersManage vendor orders and subcontracts as required.
Ability to manage a project from development and stakeholder engagement throughout the entire life cycle.
Work with the customer to manage freight damage and warranty issues until concluded.
Be a recognized expert at Carrier selection programs and on-line quote and order system.
Work to integrate all aspects of project management into Salesforce.
Requirements:
