At Vectrus Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of V2X (company), we are making a difference by delivering decision support tools critical for the protection of our forces when threatened by both physical and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear (CBRN) threats.
The CBRN team has an immediate opening for a Service Desk Technician.
The successful candidate should have strong communications skills and the ability/desire to learn new technologies quickly.
This Service Desk Technician role will work directly with system operators to resolve issues, restore functionality, perform updates, and ensure maximum capability at all times.
Responsibilities:
Work onsite with our customer and other stakeholders, including travel to customer locations Serve as a service desk technician to field customer calls, troubleshoot solutions, and interact with the product team to ensure maximum uptime Work with the team to suggest improvements and optimizations for the existing system and the associated workflows
Qualifications:
Education / Certifications:
Related experience may be substituted for education.
Associate degree preferred or CompTIA A
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards Must have or be able to acquire a government Secret Security Clearance Must have or able to obtain Security
within 90 days of hire.
Experience:

years of technical support experience Have a minimum of 2 years' experience with MS Windows 10 and the MS office suite.
Be familiar with Microsoft Server 2019 or Industrial Control Systems.
Experience with creating technical documentation.
Skills & Technology Used:
Strong English comprehension, speaking, and writing skills.
Individual must be a self-motivated performer and work well both as an individual as well as in small groups to accomplish unique mission objectives.
Individual must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time.
Must be able to communicate with the customer clearly and support customer prioritization.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
