General Public - G Job Duties The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant for our busy Human Resources Office.
The HR Assistant serves as a vital team member supporting the Talent Acquisition (TA), Benefits, and Employee Relations teams by managing several functions within HR.
The successful candidate will be professional and courteous, exceptionally well organized, able to handle multiple priorities, be a team player with a can-do and how-can-I-help attitude, be able to meet deadlines with limited supervision, and competently handle confidential information.

Responsibilities include:
o Coordinating candidate fingerprinting for DMV employees and contractors o Creating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets o Managing security access which includes issuing employee ID and access cards and coordinating parking o Collecting mail for the HR office from the mailroom and answering phone calls and email inquiries o Completing employment verification requests o Managing front office operations and performing administrative duties o Coordinating meetings, assisting with records management, supporting the TA, Benefits, and Employee Relations teams o Ordering and maintaining HR's inventory of office supplies This position works on-site, Monday-Friday.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
