00 an hour This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient and organized workflows, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The Warehouse Lead will collaborate closely with the Warehouse Manager to achieve daily objectives.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Inventory Control:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation procedures.
Coordinate with inventory clerks to ensure timely and accurate data entry into inventory management systems.
Implement and enforce inventory control processes to minimize errors, shrinkage, and discrepancies.
Shipping and Receiving:
Oversee the receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with quality standards and purchase orders.
Coordinate outbound shipments, including order picking, packing, labeling, and shipment scheduling.
Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to optimize shipping and delivery processes.
