As a Facilities Coordinator II, you will coordinate advanced site support through the performance of diverse activities related to facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects, and/or equipment maintenance.
Summarized Purpose:
Coordinates advanced site support through the performance of diverse activities related to facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects, and/or equipment maintenance.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates advanced facility support tasks related to one or multiple functions, such as building security issues and access system maintenance, shipping and receiving, distribution of mail to employees, furniture and equipment moves, and conference room set up.
May perform advanced or specialized building or equipment maintenance tasks including the completion of work orders, scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
May manage company vehicles for the site and coordinate the transportation of people and items.
May coordinate the purchase of supplies and manage supply inventories.
Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed.
Responds to facility related emergencies, as assigned.
May cross-train or mentor department staff.
Education and
Experience:
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Technical positions may require a certificate Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 4 years) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple projects and balance priorities Ability to work independently and resolve problems Consistently positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with others Effective oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills May require advanced knowledge of building systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and controls May require knowledge and understanding of computerized maintenance and work order systems May require advanced knowledge of shipping service operations and software such as FedEx, UPS, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
