Summary:
Plans and coordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities to support high impact community engagement programs for the Student Engagement and Community Relationships teams in the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE).
Key responsibilities include data and budgetary reconciliation, payment processing, administrative communications, community-work study management, operational support for student staff, timely reporting, and the completion of special projects.
Responsibilities:
Scholarship administration Administers student employment processes for the Community Work-Study and the Bonner Scholars Program, supporting high-impact community engagement experiences intended to enhance community-identified outcomes and facilitate transformative civic learning experiences.
Involves assisting with onboarding and sending timely communications to organization supervisors.
Duties also include creating community learning agreements, teaching students how to use our online reporting platforms, reconciling and managing student timesheets, and documenting accurate hourly participation records.
Provides support for summer service requirements related to the Bonner Scholars Program, inclusive of creating community learning agreements, vetting student internships, managing online payment processes, and onboarding supervisors.
Processes additional payments awarded to Bonner Scholar Program participants (e.
g.
, Loan Reduction and Rising Senior Stipends).
Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain Bonner Scholars Program and other records and databases, as appropriate; coordinates the tracking of student information for the Bonner Scholars Program, prepares and submits relevant scheduled and ad hoc reports.
Administrative support Provides administrative support and office management for CCE's student-facing office such as ordering office supplies and equipment and managing space reservations.
Manages access and usage reports of CCE on 2 space, inclusive of granting access privileges to eligible students Provides admirative support for student employees, inclusive of maintaining up-to-date schedules, work calendars, name tags, and the maintenance of needed office equipment Completes special projects, including the collection and analyzation of student engagement and admissions related information, and data preparation for annual reports.
Miscellaneous Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to gather data and compile information Record maintenance skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Database management skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and multi-tasking.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications.

Experience:
