Responsible for providing general information and assistance to Government officials, legislators, employees, and citizens in the Division's statutory jurisdiction; monitor and patrol buildings, restrict unauthorized entry in assigned properties.
Perform mail processing, ensuring mail is correctly sorted for customer pickup.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work shift hours, some weekends and holidays.
Must be physically able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to understand and apply Standing Operating Procedures and other written and or verbal orders and directives.
Demonstrated ability to react appropriately in routine and emergency situations, and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Working knowledge of safety and security concepts, principles, procedures and techniques.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Additional Considerations Law enforcement and/or security experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
