00pm Job Description Performs diversified duties related to the functioning and operation of services provided in Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits Administration.
This position requires a high degree of independence in processing personnel actions and assisting/advising departments with personnel issues.
Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with facility staff in the areas of Payroll and Human Resources.
Job Duties (Essential) Ensures consistent application of Human Resource policies to all team members.
Provides necessary technical assistance and advise about Human Resource principles, practices, and procedures to applicants, team members, supervisors, and Directors as needed, including but not limited to hiring, training and development, reviews, personnel files, benefit packages, disciplinary actions, terminations, etc.
Maintains required documentation pertaining to team members and processes it in accordance with established procedures and legal requirements.
Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines, etc.
Processes bi-weekly payroll and maintains accurate payroll records, reports, and files according to established procedures.
Coordinates team member benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and retirement plan; processing the necessary forms within designated time limits.
Makes recommendations for improvements to policies and procedures related to human resources, payroll, and benefits functions.
Research personnel issues having potential legal or compliance consequences and communicates to Director of the Business Office and Executive Director.
Function as an advocate for community team members.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Specialized knowledge and skills related to HR to create and manage procedures and practices.
Knowledge and experience in employee relations, benefits, payroll, and talent practices.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Very strong attention to detail and high regard for confidentiality.
Ability to analyze trends, cause, and outcomes of personnel related issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with visitors, residents, and family members as well as community team members.
Exceptional ability to lead and mentor as well as communicate policies and practices amongst the community.
Ability to communicate to various audiences in written and verbal form.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in business/Human Resources or related field.
PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification preferred.

years of HR experience required; 5
years preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS May include lifting (particularly records storage boxes up to 25lbs).
Extensive walking, bending, stooping, standing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
Ability to work in different locations throughout the community daily to respond to inquiries, problem and issues of residents, team members, corporate office, and outside parties.
Universal staffing, holiday, inclement weather, and a flexible work schedule are required.
