Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing development functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Assists with middle market giving and major gifts campaign to meet annual goals.
Cultivates positive relations with current and potential donors.
Meets all deadlines as instructed by the Development Officer.
Maintains accurate electronic and paper records.
Enters accurate information into donor database.
Prepares and distributes gift acknowledgments within specified timeframe.
Processes check requests, invoices, and department financial reports as requested.
Assists in the expansion of agency list of viable donors and potential donors as a result of careful attention to relationship development and maintenance.
Uses available resources to expedite all forms of donor communication, relationship maintenance, donor gifts, and applications submissions.
Coordinates special event fundraising by securing sponsors, organizing logistics, working with committees, and other related duties.
Gathers information, knowledge, and understanding of the agency and of programs for which funding is sought.
Prepares and submits grant proposals to non-profit, governmental, and corporate sources to secure funding for agency programs and projects.
Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Previous experience with donor databases/CRMs preferred Full-time Employee

Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required with one year of related experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
