5K a year A residential homebuilder based in Richmond, VA is currently recruiting for a Design Associate.
This position will work directly with customers as they select interior options and upgrades.
This position is responsible for meeting with home buyers to complete detail selections, colors, and options on their homes.
Job
Responsibilities:
Provide an exciting and pleasant overall customer experience.
Coordinate aesthetic aspects of the home based on the client's vision and sense of style.
Educate buyers on the nature of the products they are selecting to ensure compatibility with their lifestyle.
Offer upgrades, within the confines of a client's budget, to achieve a desired function.
Enter selections and upgrades into the company's operating system to ensure they are communicated to the field and office staff.
Process necessary paperwork to implement selections and change orders.
Completes tasks timely and meets deadlines.
Promptly schedule Design Center appointments to prevent delays in construction completion.
Ensure displays are up to date and maintain product knowledge.
Education and/or
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school in interior design; or three to six months interior home design experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Apple iPad Job Type:
