Your RoleThe Provider Management Team Manager will be responsible for providing technical assistance and supervising the daily activities of a team of Provider Specialists (PS) and Senior Provider Specialists (SPS).
In doing so, the Manager must develop a 'Claims Culture' within the staff by coaching, training, motivating, and coordinating activities for the Provider Specialists, developing, and implementing programs to meet claims goals/objectives and ensuring the team operates at maximum efficiency by understanding our product lines and customers and providing suggestions for improvement.
In addition, the Manager will execute on projects related to the above.
What You Will Be Doing Leading, managing, and developing a team of 12-15 Provider Specialist and Senior Provider Specialist to meet and exceed service goals and increase productivity, resulting in quality, efficient care of our customers.
Driving individual and team accountability by setting clear expectations for performance and facilitating monthly one on ones.
Providing daily direction, assistance and coaching to meet productivity and quality goals by being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the PMT tasks and processes.
Developing SMEs within the team to assist in providing this support to the PMT, as well as to other departments.
Creating and adjusting individual and team metrics as needed to support our Claims strategy.
Maintaining or creating the reports needed to monitor team productivity and development.
Facilitating training and providing coaching to ensure appropriate Risk Management.
Monitoring, updating, or creating related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate, quality handling of cases.
Managing and participating in corporate wide projects and initiatives to improve the customer and representative experience Must Have/What You Bring You have either 3 - 5 years prior leadership experience or Genworth experience in an advanced role that has provided you with the necessary skills to lead people.
Demonstrates the ability to thrive on developing people and building relationships, understanding that success is achieved not only through goals met but through developing strong, engaged employees.

Willingness to learn claims and workflow systems.
