We are currently seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to oversee clinical and administrative activities related to outpatient and community-based services.
Responsible for supervising Resident Outpatient Clinicians and Direct Care Staff.
Provides direct counseling services.
This position is responsible forClinical Services Partners with the Director of Community Based Services in the development and expansion of clinical services.
Completes clinical assessments for CBS services Provides clinical and administrative supervision to CBS staff.
Provides CSOTP supervision to clinicians.
Will provide up to 20 hours of counseling services weekly.
Productivity expectations will be established by the Director of Community Based Services or designee and will be based on other supervisory responsibilities.
Will hire and train outpatient residents.
Ensures quality supervision is offered to Supervisors, Residents, Supervisees, and Direct Care Staff.
Provides crisis intervention as necessary during available hours.
Implements alternative crisis contacts and planning as needed if therapist is not available.
Continually assesses clients for increased service needs.
Conducts and prepares written diagnostic assessments.
Utilizes various assessment instruments as needed within scope of expertise.
Develops and implements treatment plans as needed and documents services provided to maintain compliance with DBHDS and Payor regulations.
Develops, maintains, and effectively implements client discharge plans (including mobilization of resources for ongoing maintenance, rehabilitation & recovery).
Maintains high quality standards for services rendered by adhering to appropriate licensing Board's Ethical Standards.
Administrative Maintain fluency in knowledge and practice of all Medicaid and DBHDS requirements.
Participate in supervision and team meetings as scheduled.
Ensure clinical documentation compliance (completion of initial screenings, diagnosis at intake for billing requirements utilizing DSM-V criteria, session documentation, services plans/reviews if required by insurance, discharge planning and recommendations, any other forms/documentation required by insurance provider for reimbursement or ethical documentation of services).
Partners with the Accounting and Quality Assurance Department to ensure clinical records are in compliance and service reimbursement is secured.
Partners with the Business Development and Marketing Department to develop healthy referral streams that support the growth and expansion of services.
Education and Experience Required:
Must be a Licensed Mental Healthcare Provider registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Health with at least 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience providing direct services to adults and/or youth with a mental health diagnosis, and at least 2 years of related supervisory experience.
Must be approved to provide licensure supervision to Residents in Counseling and/or Supervisees in Social Work.
