HVAC Technical Trainer

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Trainer in the North Carolina or Virginia area.
As a Technical Trainer you will be responsible for developing and providing product and technical training support to internal and external customers for Johnstone Supply JTeam.
This training program could be in a JTeam classroom setting, at a customer location, or remote/virtual.
Additionally, you will lead the organizations video training initiative, which would provide training and marketing videos to be displayed in our showrooms.
This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through training and providing satisfactory customer technical support, and has travel requirements which support JTeam branches located in North Carolina and Virginia.
Instructors Duties and Job Responsibilities Preparation of course material, projects, labs to ensure that class objectives are being met as advertised.
Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, projects, and labs.
Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the different attendee learning styles.
Assist with developing and promoting JTeam Annual Training Schedule.
Travel to all JTeam branch locations (and surrounding) according to training schedule.
Encourages and mentors attendees to get the most out of their time spent in the classroom.
Creating accurate assessments of each class attendee.
Working with attendees one-on-one when additional assistance is required by one or more of the attendees.
Acting in a professional manner each and every day as you are the face of JTeams training program and the key element to its success.
Ensure that every attendee is very confident and competent on the class material.
Ensure class is left in better condition than it was when class was begun.
Collaborating with Tech Services and assisting in the resolution of partner issues during down times in Training.
Creation of professional up-to-date video training and marketing, which will be displayed in showrooms across JTeams branches.
Education and
Experience:
Required:
Available to travel to various JTeam and Customer sites across NC and VA.
Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC training or HVAC technical service field.
Strong HVAC technical background.
Possess a valid Drivers License with a satisfactory driving record.
Effective in developing and presenting course curriculum across different media (PowerPoint, Video,etc).
Basic computer skills for email, job logging, and training.
Good communication skills with customers, other employees, and management.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Extensive knowledge of HVAC products, systems, and controls.
Proven track record of success in training, technical service, and customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to interact with students and customers of varied backgrounds.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, students, and customers.
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers; builds long-term business relationships.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals, installation manuals, and technical documents.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and develop course curriculum.
Preferred:
EPA Certification/ Proctor (Willing to Obtain).
Nate Certifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
