06/2023 Job Summary The Facilities Manager is an energetic individual able to exercise a wide range of creativity with strong attention to detail.
In this role, you will use your experience to help plan maintenance, schedule repairs, coordinate with direct reports and contractors, and ensure that the locations run smoothly.
You will assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day maintenance and maintenance project activities.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of construction projects and ensuring budgets are tracked and met.
The Facilities Manager will perform general maintenance and repairs.
Essential Functions Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
Complete work orders and forms to ensure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed correctly.
Follows instructions well Able to use a lawn mower, drills, hammers, and essential tools Able to read manuals to troubleshoot and put together items Maintain all properties and uphold a standard of property excellence by conducting weekly inspections Schedule repair items in areas of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Occasional interior and exterior paint and drywall repair, if necessary.
Perform custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc.

Competencies Two years of experience in building maintenance and a high school diploma or GED are required Must have reliable transportation and know about all federal, state and local compliance and safety regulations The ability to work with contractors and outside suppliers and work well with the company's population is necessary Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs and Forms Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership Practical communication skills--verbal and written Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision; teamwork orientation with solid relationship management skills.
Physical Demands The physical demands of this position frequently require moving, lifting items.
Items more than 50lbs should require help from other team members.
