Flexible schedule required w/ some weekends Operations Manager Job Duties:
Manage the cleaning portfolio of 5-15 accounts and lead a staff of 50-100 employees.
Consistently provide a clean, secure and safe environment for the occupants of your customers' buildings as well as our own employees.
Effectively and cost efficiently execute the cleaning plan for each of your buildings, including how the team will handle absenteeism.
Recruit, hire, train, coach, develop, discipline, and motivate your supervisory and production staff.
Manage staffing levels, work schedules, cleaning plans, time & attendance records and labor budgets.
Manage and control company equipment, supplies and materials inventory.
Manage spending to achieve P&L goals for each building.
Regularly inspect buildings to ensure cleanliness, secure and safe operations.
Take corrective action when appropriate.
Ensure customer satisfaction through clear expectations and proactive communications.
Respond very promptly to customer requests and concerns.
Identify revenue growth opportunities and retain accounts with high-quality service and relationships.
Be a team player.
Support and assist other operations managers in building start-ups, recruiting and hiring and sharing resources.
Job
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities and accomplishments Experience leading and managing a full-time and part-time hourly work force Demonstrated experience managing operations and budgets across multiple locations Willingness to work overtime and maintain flexible hours, including evening work Janitorial industry experienced preferred but not required Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work well with others at all levels.
Superior customer service skills Strong work ethic and do whatever is necessary to get the job done Ability to think on feet, solve problems and make adjustments Strong organization and prioritization skills Ability to teach, coach, motivate and develop people Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school degree or GED required.
Associates or bachelors degree preferred.
