This back of house person will help produce fantastic corporate events, gala fundraiser, and other celebrations to life.
Requires multiple creative and artistic skills to bring designer's vision to fruition on event site Must have 5 years of scheduling and leadership experience Human Resources experience a must.
Must be able to demonstrate strategic and long term planning skills A thinker & problem solver Equipment Maintenance It all starts with our incredible inventory of theme props, scenery, stage sets, and event equipment.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and touching up of inventory before it goes out to a program.
This may include touch up painting or simply repairing a shipping box.
Managerial and Administrative skills:
Reviews staffing levels to ensure event operational needs are met.
Leads discussions to review scheduled events and proactively avoid challenges.
Equipment Fabrication Much of our inventory is design and built in our wood shop.
We have a full service wood shop and cabinet shop with a paint booth.
When hired to design a program our designers come up with creative solutions to meet the clients goal, then we get into the shop to build the stage set, giant sign, 3D prop and the other elements needed to execute the program.
Fabrication skills include general carpentry, painting, use of fasteners, and coming up with creative solutions.
Inventory Control and Maintenance Once we build something, we store it in our warehouses on shelves organize with an alphanumeric numbering system.
All our inventory is in our CRM data base.
The design/sales team will draw from the inventory in the design/selling process and a Pick List with shelf locators will be printed that represents the final order and all the will be installed for the client.
Event Execution and Installation Orders are pulled, checked and driven to the clients event site - often a hotel ballroom or school gym or corporate office lobby/conference room.
Our team installs according to the develop floor plan, then at the end of the event, we bring it all back and return equipment to stock in the warehouse for the next client.
Installation skills include general mechanical skills and basic carpentry.
Physical Requirement.
Must be able to safely lift, move, twist, use ladders and work with 50 - 75 pounds using material handling equipment General Operations Management A Director with Ampa must have good people skills, must be able to work with others who have different backgrounds, have a positive attitude, be a leader and motivator.
In charge of equipment maintenance, facilitates maintenance and general operations.
All equipment upon return to stop can be tagged in our system for repair or touch up and tracked in the computer prior to its next use.
We rely on technology to help prioritize our workflow.
Goal Our job at Ampa Events is to create fun events for clients, help a client with a product launch, create marketing events that allow corporations to present their products to the world, help a worthy cause raise money for their organization.
We do this through our creative solutions to meet client's needs.
Ampa programs may include general event equipment, lounge furniture we purchase from US Manufactures, designer beverage bars or theme decor we build in house, elaborate theatrical decorative lighting and more.
