Are you looking for a hybrid work schedule? EnCircle is hiring a Clinician (licensed or license-eligible) to provide clinical support to children in our new Transitional Foster Care program in Richmond, VA.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, knowledge of immigrant communities and trauma informed care practices is helpful.
Our Clinician will be responsible for carrying a caseload, providing clinical services using best practices, and will supervise an additional mental health clinician.
Come join a knowledgeable and supportive team of immigration and child welfare professionals! Reporting to the Lead Clinician, our Clinician will provide comprehensive services using appropriate modalities tailored to that child while using a trauma-informed care approach.
As a clinician you will also provide individual and group therapy.
You will be responsible for completing initial assessments, preliminary and ongoing treatment plans, and coordinating services to ensure high-quality care of our unaccompanied children (UC).

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, REQUIREMENTS AND PREREQUISITES Master's degree in social work with clinical experience and license or license eligible to provide clinical services in Virginia (LMSW or LCSW or LCSW-C); OR Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement and license or license eligible to provide clinical services in Virginia independently (LCPC); OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience and licensed or license eligible to provide clinical services in Virginia.
Bi-lingual English and Spanish, required.
Prior experience working with immigrant and/or refugee populations, preferred.
Trauma-informed training for serving immigrant or vulnerable populations, preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal communication, and clinical and persuasive writing skills.
Ability to work under stress or in a fast-paced environment, including crisis situations.
Computer literacy and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions.
Valid Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and positive driving record to transport minors in own vehicle if needed required.
Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
Willing and able to be on an on-call rotation for emergency response situations.
Hybrid work schedule available-3 days on site and 2 days work from home.
Willing and able to work a variable schedule including weekend and evening hours.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants as needed, including group work and family therapy.
Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for youth.
Coordinate services for each youth in conjunction with Case Manager.
Participate in staff meetings and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs.
Attend, facilitate, and assist with providing on-going education and support services to foster parents.
Provide record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities in accordance with program and ORR policy.
Provide crisis intervention and guidance to youth and foster families regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies.
Comply with laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality.
