Summary:
As a Business Analyst on the ClaimCenter team, you will apply your analytical skills to help solve claims system & process challenges.
You will be responsible for understanding current processes, procedures, and systems.
Gather and document business needs and requirements, identify issues, gaps, and opportunities; evaluate solution options, assist with the creation of business cases and the effective use of claims systems in meeting business needs.

Job Responsibilities Develop solid understanding of business applications (esp.
Guidewire ClaimCenter), workflows, processes, needs, and constraints Partner with claims and business customers to understand business objectives, identify potential solutions, and document requirements Create mock-ups & visual representations to clearly capture & convey user requirements Capture & create user story, integration, type list, data, & form specifications Work with configuration and integration developers to ensure their designs and implementations meet business requirements Provide demos to Product Owner and other partners for approval & sign-off Support QA in test case reviews, end-to-end testing, & explanation of business requirements Education Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) Certification Insurance certifications and/or affiliation with industry group a plus Guidewire certifications a bonus Work Experience 3-5 years of experience in a related role Experienced practitioner of process analysis and modelling preferred Experience with claims handling processes and systems preferred Experience with agile processes and frameworks a plus Skill Sets Strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to ask probing questions to understand root causes of issues Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy Excellent written, listening, and oral communication skills; ability to communicate technical information in a business-friendly manner Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes Experience using management tools like Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office suite, Visio and the ability to query SQL DB and analyze results.
The salary range for this position in Colorado is $48,000 - $65,000.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
