Main Street Realty is looking for a positive, motivated, and customer focused individual who is ready to assist our Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our beautiful, historically renovated, luxury apartment communities.
The ideal Assistant Property Manager must have the ability to manage multiple employees, balance a variety of responsibilities, display strong customer service skills, and be detail oriented and highly organized.
Some responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments Maintain occupancy while providing superior customer service to current tenants and prospective tenants Support Property Manager and act as Manager in their absence Assist with property marketing activities Prepare and send notice of returned checks, late rent reminders, and other correspondence as assigned Resolve resident complaints, answer resident questions, and monitor the resolution of problems.
Perform other duties as necessary to meet the needs of residents and the property.
Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent Strong customer service skills Good oral and written communication skills Detail oriented and computer proficient Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and able to balance multiple responsibilities at once The following items, while not required, are things that draw our attention when looking for stand-out candidates:
At least (1) year working in the property management industry Experience working with Yardi property management software Normal Work Schedule:
