Quick Apply Full-time 15 hours ago Full Job Description The Sign and Graphics Production Specialist will assist in the manufacturing process through the use of digital cutting technologies, including but not limited to (laser-cutter, and Zund Digital Finishing Cutter/CNC Router) to achieve production goals.
As a member of Image360 - RVA Operations Team, the Sign and Graphics Production Specialist is expected to lead by example and consistently exhibit the Core Values of the company.
The Sign and Graphics Production Specialist is responsible for planning production to reduce waste by nesting all cutting jobs as efficiently as possible.
The Sign and Graphics Production Specialist will assist with fabrication and other assembly tasks as needed.
The Sign and Graphics Production Specialist will meet regularly and report directly to the Operations Director.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring cutting production schedule to meet deadlines and production goals Perform appropriate maintenance for all technology and log all maintenance activities Determine appropriate inventory and coordinate with Operations Director to ensure proper inventory levels and use of scrap materials Coordinate with Operations Director on daily production scheduling including how best to utilize human resources Follow all workflow procedures and maintain live status in CoreBridge Monitor production team to ensure all health and safety procedures and training are followed Provide reports and scorecard metrics as defined by Operations Director Ensure production facility is always clean, organized and operating as a safe and efficient environment Support Production Error tracking efforts with root cause analysis conducted and corrective actions documented and implemented Prioritize re-work issues to retain client good will in cases of quality or production issues Daily Activities:
Daily production technology maintenance as required Operate CNC cutters, laser, and other technology to meet client demand Support installation and delivery as appropriate to production schedule requirements Support Quality Control checks for accuracy and product quality Troubleshoot production technology issues to resolution by working with vendor partners Assist with sign fabrication
Qualifications:
Experience with digital cutting systems a must, experience with Zund Cut Center software a plus! Moderate level of knowledge/expertise with vector-graphics software (e.
g.
, Adobe Illustrator, Flexi, etc.
) is required Experience operating laser and mechanical cutters/routers is a plus Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs Reliable transportation required Job Type:
