5 Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description The City of Richmond Department of Social Services is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Business Systems Specialist as part of the Technical Support Team.
The incumbent is responsible for providing first level help desk support responding to employee calls/e-mails/walk-ins requesting assistance with software, hardware and security issues escalating to 2nd level technicians as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to Dispatching Technology Specialists for field work at remote locations Managing service requests and incident reports for end-user support in the Microsoft System Center - Service Manager and GridPro applications Maintaining and processing security access request forms via the BonitaSoft application for new hires, separations and security access modifications ensuring requests are filed electronically Maintaining both paper and electronic security files to ensure audit compliance Representing the agency at routine Automation Coordinator and Information Technology Operations Committee (ITOC) meetings Responding to security form questions from supervisors/managers ensuring completeness and accuracy of forms prior to processing Developing processes and procedures for daily help desk operations Assisting end-users with applying software patches and upgrades on their computer remotely using Microsoft System Center - Configuration Manager (SCCM) Creating reports and activity logs for Technology Manager on an routine and adhoc basis Serving as a secondary Local Security Officer for state applications responsible for systems administration of VDSS applications (VaCMS, OASIS, EPPIC EBT, EPPIC ECC, etc.
) Serving as a secondary Automation Coordinator for the department responsible for assisting with systems administration of city applications (Harmony, E-mail, Active Directory etc.
) Performing other related duties as assigned Qualifications, Special Certifications and Licenses KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Considerable knowledge in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, etc.
); electronic databases and related software applications used by State and local agencies such as ADAPT, MUNIS, Tyler Cashiering, Virginia Case Management System (VaCMS), etc.
; Help Desk Support; and Technical Information Technology.
Demonstrated skill in analyzing data; developing and generating various end-user reports; evaluating, documenting, and enhancing internal and operational controls for information systems; gathering, analyzing, and defining business processes and system requirements; maintaining and updating databases and supporting end-users and customers.
Demonstrated ability to think critically; problem solve; manage time; organize and follow standard procedures and established practices.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in computer science or related field Two years of end-user support, systems testing, training and/or systems support experience.
An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the classification LICENSING, CERTIFICATIONS, and/or OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
