Medical Director, Hospital Medicine at Vcu Health System in Richmond, VA

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University, seeks a hospitalist physician and leader for our Inpatient Internal Medicine Service at VCU Tappahannock Hospital. Duties include:
overseeing and enhancing the quality of care on inpatient internal medicine services at VCU Tappahannock Hospital; supervising the hospital medicine physicians and advanced practice providers at VCU Tappahannock; liaising with hospital, divisional, and departmental leaders to advance the mission of VCU Health System; admitting and managing patients for a hospitalist-led inpatient service; and co-management of surgical patients. This position is supported by 20% non-clinical time to achieve the leadership and quality aspirations of this position.
Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, direct experience managing complex inpatients; demonstrated accomplishments related to improving system effectiveness and the quality of inpatient care; competency in standard inpatient procedures; solid understanding of the hospitalist role and function; an interest in teaching and growth in an academic setting, and demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
