The Market ACNO is responsible for the oversight of all areas where nursing practice occurs to include acute, ambulatory, home health, hospice, and medical group. This position is responsible for providing leadership in planning, directing, coordinating, providing and improving patient care services. The Market ACNO works in collaboration with and under the direction of the Group/Market CNE and serves as the liaison to the facility CNOs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS In collaboration with the Market/Group CNE, develops a strategic and operational nursing plan that guides the BSR market in contributing toward the Atlantic group and system-wide strategy Lead in a changing environment with focus on stabilization of daily operational issues while remaining in alignment with the strategic plan and uses best practice principles and nursing research to promote professional nursing practice connecting the continuum of care Ensures advancement of the practice of nursing by supporting best practice interventions, using data measures to improve clinical outcomes, and supporting the use of nursing research to ensure standards are met for Magnet designation; implement structures and processes for caregivers to influence improvements in their practice Ensures that continuous performance improvement initiatives are designed to measure and improve the quality of care delivered and are consistent with the organization priorities Serves as a liaison between hospitals and schools of nursing to facilitate partnerships for advancement of recruitment for nursing students Achievement of clinical outcomes, productivity/outcomes measure, and adherence to nursing practice standards In collaboration with the CNE, formulates policies and procedures consistent with recognized standards of professional practice and reflecting the intent of regulatory standards and maintain authority, accountability, and responsibility for nursing services Establishes a strong collaborative relationship with the site Chief Nursing Officers to achieve and encourage active participation from all staff members and create a working environment that will encourage engagement and retention of clinical employees Partnering with other system executives in the development and evaluation of business plans and new programs intended to expand and improve delivery of care Works collaboratively with market and system workforce professional practice leaders REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
4 year/ Bachelors Degree SPECIALTY/MAJOR:

Graduate Degree (Masters) LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt MINIMUM YEARS AND TYPE OF
Experience:
3-5 years in nursing leadership position
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Nursing, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
