The new member of the team will primarily assist with accounts payables to its freight vendors and credit requests from its part vendors.
Having prior experience with freight companies and/or with freight accounting is a plus, but not required.
Primary responsibilities will include a combination of:
- Researching, inputting and reconciling freight vendor invoices/payables each week.
- Researching and requesting credits from part vendors.
- Submitting claims and disputes for lost shipments and damages online and via email.
- Communicate effectively with our vendors and internal departments.
- Anything else you can do to help make our organization successful.
Qualified candidates will:
- Be fast, efficient, and able to multi-task on a computer.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently with little to no supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Be a self-starter, have strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
- Have experience successfully working in an office environment and/or small business.
- Be professional, hard-working, and easy to get along with.
- Be willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
This is a full-time position with no weekend work required.
