8K a year General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Content Designer to join our Training team to work in our Richmond, VA office.

About the Team The GSC Training Team oversees the creation and implementation of learning solutions for all GSC staff, managers, and executives.
Our purpose is to implement talent development strategies which inspire professional excellence while attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional and diverse people, who together create a first-class experience for our residents.
This is a newly created role, as the company continues to grow, so does the Training Team! This role reports directly to the Training Manager, under the leadership of the Director of Training and Human Resources.
About the Role As Training Content Designer, you will apply your skills in instructional design, e-learning, and multimedia production to create learning experiences that will help GSC employees effectively succeed in their roles and responsibilities.
The working hours are Monday through Friday in our Richmond Training Center office.
About the Responsibilities Develop new course material to be incorporated into existing courses, as well as research, design, and implement new courses Use exceptional attention to detail to create and develop training objectives, instructional curriculum, and knowledge assessments in multiple formats Work collaboratively with the Training Team, cross-functional teams including HR and Operations, and both internal and external subject matter experts to ensure content is well-defined, accurate, and consistently improving Self-train, educate, and research for on-going development, innovation, revision, and expansion of existing training programs, including on company policies and procedures and new multimedia authoring tools Requirements About You Proven experience creating engaging and interactive learning curriculum tailored to specific learning outcomes, and writing effective assessments to evaluate competencies required Experience in course design, Articulate 360, Camtasia and/or other comparative multimedia authoring tools required Detail-oriented with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and work in both a team environment and independently on several projects concurrently required Excellent writing and editing skills required A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing presentations Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in training and content design Experience in training and development with adult learners in a professional training environment preferred Experience with Learning Management Systems, Google Suite Products, and/or Canva preferred Benefits GSC offers competitive compensation along with a full benefits package:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
