We are looking for a Registered Medication Aide - VA to join a diverse team who brings knowledge and skills from a variety of backgrounds.
Our healthcare providers have autonomy when caring for patients and use strong assessment skills to quickly identify risk factors and provide quality patient care.
What You'll Do:
Healthcare providers generally support and assist with patient care for the residents in the facility.
Dispenses oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients.
Stocks the medication cart.
Records what medications and dosages were given for the day.
Manages and maintains pharmacy stocks of medicine and medical supplies.
Respond to requests from Security Staff as well as Mediko Staff in accordance with Mediko and Facility Guidelines.
This includes following the rules and regulations for employee conduct/behavior and chain of command set forth by the command staff at all times while working within the detention/correctional facility.
What We Require:
Completion of and certified as a Medication Aide One year experience as a Medication Aide Current CPR/BLS certification Criminal background check, Security Clearance and Drug Screening What We Offer:
