We are currently recruiting for Full time Child Care Teachers for our Northside and MCV Campus Locationsto plan, develop and implement lesson plans and provide a safe, secure environment for children six weeks to six years age. To ensure that interactions with children support their self-esteem and promote their growth and development. To make learning a fun process that allows and encourages children to explore their full potentials. To communicate effectively and with respect with parents and team members. To support parents in achieving their parenting goals.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire (Note: Required credentials are limited to those required by law, regulation, or professional standard.)
Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate preferred
Level and type of experience REQUIRED
Previous experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age (paid or unpaid)
Education/training REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (i.e. Child Psychology, Children s Literature)
Education/training PREFERRED
Associates or Bachelors or Masters in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
