We are currently seeking highly qualified undergraduate intern(s) to join our Marketing Research department in Richmond, VA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our 10-12 week summer intern program provides students the opportunity to participate in on-the-job training, access to mentors, planned social events, and educational opportunities. Students may be given the opportunity to work on a cross functional project team or on independently assigned projects and are expected to use project management skills to execute multiple project tasks simultaneously. Students will document project work in a formal report and/or presentation to Senior Management at the conclusion of the program.
As a Market Information & Consumer Research undergraduate intern with Altria Client Services, the student will be assigned to a specific area within our Marketing Research department for purposes of learning, assessment and ultimate contribution.
Projects may include:
Designing, executing and interpreting primary and/or secondary consumer research to drive consumer insights; presenting findings to key clients, including Brand Management, Sales and Senior Management. Research may focus on awareness, trial and purchase among adult tobacco consumers, consumer segmentation, or brand equity and marketing program performance.
Analyzing and modeling information to drive marketplace insights and aid decision-making; presenting findings to key clients, including Brand Management, Sales and Senior Management. Research may focus on Product performance (i.e. share, volume and pricing), Wholesale and retail execution, or Product distribution gaps and opportunities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
