Goodwill Staffing Solutions is looking to staff a Welder position. The position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. Individuals must have at least two years of welding experience.
Summary:
Knowledge of welding characteristics of various metals including stainless steel, galvanized & aluminum.
Primarily TIG welding experience with emphasis on neatness; Preferably at least 12 months of TIG welding. Certificate a plus.
MIG Welding will be considered
Familiarity with visual weld inspection procedures
Skill in interpreting blueprints and diagrams
Ability to manage welding operations independently
Ability to take accurate measurements of metal parts using calipers, templates and straight-edges
Selecting materials and equipment required for welding.
Clamping, measured and aligned metal parts prior to welding.
Background check and drug testing required.
Ashland/ Mechanicsville area
Compensation:
Pay rate range: (depending upon experience)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
