We are seeking a Java Technical Lead to join our Consumer & Small Business Card Acquisitions IT delivery team to lead a team of up to 10 working on J2EE and Web Applications based projects. The role is a real mix between leadership and technical delivery, where you will have the opportunity to own the end to end solution - from ideation > design > delivery > implementation. As a Capital One Technical Lead, you will have accountability for the day-to-day implementation of work to ensure top-notch delivery of our products and services to customers and consumers. You will manage applications and customer expectations, and have the opportunity to recommend innovative solutions and improvements to processes, projects and services. To be successful in this role as a Java Technical Lead you will be degree qualified in Computer Science or similar, with extensive design and team leadership experience. You will have a passion for mentoring junior developers as well as being willing to be involved in the detail where necessary. You will possess strong technical experience in the Java EE space with a particular focus on: - Design patterns, including MVC - Java/J2EE - WebLogic and/or WebLogic Portal - Experience with Software Delivery Tools (Subversion, MAVEN, Hudson, etc.) - Extensive stakeholder management and problem solving skills - Previous digital acquisitions experience would be highly regarded This is a great opportunity for a Technical Lead who has a passion for design, mentoring, and implementation of critical business features and components. You will have the opportunity to work in our dynamic Card acquisitions business leading a large team to deliver critical projects within the digital marketing space.
Responsibilities: - Team Lead for a team of 3-5 Developers - Management of development tasks and work load allocation to the Developers - Set technical direction from a framework and design patterns perspective - Work closely with Product Owners, BSAs, and Scrum Masters to ensure project deadlines are met and issues escalated when necessary
Qualifications: Basic
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or military experience - At least 7 years of experience in Java development - At least 2 years of technical lead experience Preferred
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Information Systems/MIS or Science - Weblogic portal experience - 7 years of Java/J2EE experience - 4 years of experience in technical lead experience - Agile experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
