Quantum Tech Staffing is looking for a Java Developer for a contract position with one of our clients in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsible for ensuring the team is consistently delivering working software to the standards the department expects whether this be within an iteration or through a continuous flow model so that we are consistently delivering value to department
The responsibilities of this position include Team Lead as well as system analysis for assigned projects, new system implementation and document functional requirements. This position involves analysis on the current systems and then produce functional requirement document for new To-be model based upon Enterprise approach.
To ensure team is always working on the highest priority work and is aware of the priority so that we are delivering the most possible value to department at any time.
To ensure the team is collaborating closely and understands their requirements.
Understands and be able to talk coherently about any process methodologies (such as Agile etc.)
Required Skills:
Participated in full life cycle projects to understand business requirements and then complete the design, development, testing and implementation. (15 years)
Strong people management skills and verbal communication skills (15 years)
Knowledge and understanding of J2EE architecture, application systems design and integration. (10 years)
Knowledge of Java/J2EE, XML, IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM MQ, Enterprise Service Bus and Databases (10 years)
Knowledge of HL7, HIPAA and X12 standards (1 year)
Preferred Skills:
Training and Certification on SOA, Java/J2EE, MQ, Spring, EJB, XML, IBM DB2, Agile/SCRUM execution methodologies. (1 year)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
